Vid: Saya...Nage?

Dynamic vid. I liked his movement very much. Don't know if I'd want to be putting my sword in grabbing reach of enemy, but the practice/vid is a great visualization of angles and principles. I got it from a FaceBook friend.

Neat video. We have done a couple of those in my class before (but with bokkens)

I like how on the very first techinique, uke doesn't even reach tori with his thrust and begins tucking his leg for the fall before tori even begins his tsukaate. There's also lots of pulling the jo back while moving the body forward so that there's a nice big suki for tori to take advantage of.
